Dhany Wijaya Setiawan

Dhanny Wijaya Setiawan is a screenwriter from Jambi, and has been on an adventure in creative writing for about two years. He sharpened his skills in “Tim Penulis Bahagia” and “Turion Creative”. Prior to finding out his passion in writing, he was attracted to storytelling via stand-up comedy.

Armed with curiosity and dedication, Dhanny attended various classes and training which eventually brought him to “SCENE”, an incubation program by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy in 2022. The program helped him find his way on collaborating with “Turion Creative”. The collaboration work, “Langit Tak Berujung” was an official selection on 2023 JAFF and is live on Bioskop Online.

Currently Dhanny has three shorts and a mini-series written in his belt. In addition to film, Dhanny also has concern in environmental issues, showing his support by campaigning to reduce food waste and loss.
