Rahmadiyah Tria Gayathri (Palu, 11 June 1992) is a cross-media artist, film producer, arts manager and disaster researcher. She graduated from Informatics Engineering at Stmik Bina Mulia Palu in 2018. Founder of an art collective called Forum Sudut Pandang since 2016. She also works in a network of art institutions in Indonesia such as: Lumbung Indonesia, Rimpang Nusantara and Rumata’ Art Space. In 2017 after attending Seascreen Academy, she produced her first feature film as a Producer titled “Mountain Song” which won several awards including: 2020 Asian Film Festival Rome, 2020 Indonesian Film Festival, 2019 World Cinema Amsterdam & 2019 Shanghai International Film Festival.
She conducted several art residencies including: Rimpang Kelana residency in Simeulue, Aceh-West Sumatra, Susur Selubung in Maumere-Flores. Jogja Biennale 2022 residency in Tidore Islands-North Maluku. Together with her fellow art managers, she was involved in the presentation of the Lumbung Indonesia programme at Museum Fridericianum, Kassel, in the art exhibition Documenta 15. Aside from being an artist and film producer, She has also produced many independent documentary films that focus on issues of environmental protection and disaster risk reduction, some of his documentary films include; 2022 “Tanah Emas”, a short documentary film about the gold mining conflict in Palu, Central Sulawesi. 2020 “Living Witnesses of the History of the Earthquake and Tsunami in Central Sulawesi” a compilation of stories from eyewitnesses and living witnesses of the tsunami in collaboration with UNESCO & IOTIC.
